By Cap Cana News

Dear owners and residents, thanks to the strength of our infrastructure, the damages caused by Hurricane Maria have been moderate in CAP CANA:

  • The supply of electricity, water and telecommunications services remained stable during the hurricane and is in operation.
  • The Marina maintains its regular operations on the docks with about 200 boats that we once again received from the surrounding areas to be safeguarded.
  • The roads are clear and a special emergency brigade is working to collect the fallen trees and the debris from the surrounding areas.
  • The Punta Espada golf course only requires cleaning in some oceanfront holes.

We remind you that the Emergency Operations Center (COE) keeps the eastern part of the country on a red alert, so our beaches are closed. The Dominican Navy has suspended the departure of boats while the alert is maintained. Likewise, access to Cap Cana will be limited for owners, residents and hotel guests.
